When did you feel most alive recently? Where were you? What did you smell? What sights and sounds did you experience? Capture that moment on paper and recall that feeling. Then, when it’s time to create something, read your own words to reclaim a sense of being to motivate you to complete a task at hand.

I know I missed some prompts and been absent from the internet for a few days, but it was for a very good cause. I’ve been away for a few days doing other things besides the daily work, the blog posts, the reading and the overwhelming chores. I think I needed some time for myself, even though the time was not for my exclusive use. It was friends time, and at the same time, it was my time.

Now I came back with some new ideas, which I’m trying to put to good use. I needed to recharge batteries and put things in perspective. The strange and at the same time familiar surroundings of a big city made it work. Let’s welcome all that is new and make non-habits became interesting. Let’s walk for miles, observe everything and collect good memories.

The bright colors, the interchanging weather, the variety of people, a new lifestyle and new values, the smells, the food, even the taste of a bottle of water. All that is new and old. What makes the difference? Awareness…
