Google+ A nova arma da Google

A 28 de Junho deste ano a Google lançou a rede social que pretende fazer frente ao tão mediático Facebook. Infelizmente o número de convites distribuídos e os acessos atribuídos foram demasiado limitados para termos sequer um vislumbre do que lá vem. Google+ depressa excedeu a sua capacidade de utilizadores e a possibilidade de registo nesta nova rede social depressa acabou.

Uma espécie de pré-registo encontra-se em funcionamento aqui, mas na prática o máximo que podemos fazer é ler sobre a nova plataforma e aproveitar a visita guiada. read more

Ler e escrever em Português, ou noutra língua?

Ler é um prazer, uma diversão e um escape. Ler as versões originais, acrescenta-lhe a especiaria que lhe dá mais sabor. A versão original de um livro, filme, peça de teatro, música, contém em si mesma algo que nunca poderá ser reproduzido numa tradução.

70% dos livros que leio são traduções de obras de autores ingleses/americanos. Destes 70% mais de metade são mesmo na versão original. Mas como dizia o meu pai, “tudo na vida tem 50% de coisas boas e 50% de coisas más”, o que significa que por um lado aprofundo os meus conhecimentos de Inglês, mas por outro danifico o meu Português. read more
