It will sound cheesy but I don’t care… Every day that I’m with both of you. It has been a year full of everything wonderful, and not so great stuff, but I am so very lucky to be able to be here with you.
And the word really is Lucky.

Both feet on the ground… and all the tools at my disposal to reach the (sky) tree fruits.

Not who I am but they all determine what I am.
It’s missing a gazillion other things but these are the main ones… I guess.
In the air
… or on the ground. Let us fly, but always land on both feet. Let us feel the magic, but return safely to earth. Let us live without fear.
I keep returning to the books about the craft. I keep reading the in search for something that will make a difference in my own writings, fiction or non-fiction. Still I keep stumbling on the same road block. Me.
This one still is one of the most inspirational readings about the craft. And assuming I would have a very full 2016, it was the first reading of the shortest list that I proposed myself to read during the current year.
We move in circles. And sometimes it’s in daylight that nightly things become brightest. It takes light to chase away the dark. It takes a burning ring of fire to push an ice circle away.
Enclosed in our not so pretty square boxes we don’t get to see much. Especially if we’re not really looking beyond ourselves or out the window.
From all of my favorite’s photos from 2016 this one is special. She was a bit cranky. I was a bit flustered. We were both doing what we could to be patient with each other. But we managed this pretty special shot. My baby. My curious one. My love.
It was very difficult to chose just one photo. They’re all special and important. Even the unfocused and ugly represents some special part of me.
