Today’s prompt really got me thinking. And after a hard day, a hard week, a hard month or even a hard couple of years, all I could think about was how others made me feel. And definitely it should be the other way around.

I do believe that if we act accordingly with our will, others will be compelled to do the same. Behavior generates behavior. But this works for the good and the bad. Sometimes people do choose to say something that they don’t believe, treat others badly just because they can, push others around because they feel better with themselves when they do it.

I believe in paying it forward (sounds familiar?) I believe in truth above all things (but the charitable lie can’t be denied of its benefits). I believe in friendship. I believe in love. I believe in loyalty. And I believe that if we stick to our beliefs we have the power to change the world. Or be consumed by it… that’s always a thought.
