I love a good inspiring challenge. This time I’ll be sharing it here, on the blog, with you.
I guess it doesn’t fit the blog theme. Frankly, I can’t seem to care less. I keep struggling to maintain this project and I guess in this final month a more contemplative state is in order… And even if it doesn’t fit the writers theme it surely serves its inspirational profile.
Starting tomorrow I’ll be posting some of my photographs allusive to this contemplative phase. I guess I’ll be writing something too, accompanning each captured moment of 2016.
These are the prompts:
It’s been a hell of a year… It’s been a hell of a couple of years… It’s been my literary life condensed in more than a decade of blog posts, books, short stories, poetry and other writings on this blog.
Now it’s time to take a break, ponder in what comes next, and put some of my other loves into this virtual space. I’m hoping that participating in #decemberreflections2016 I’ll be able to really think about what has passed and what will come in 2017. And I hope I can find a way to strenghten my creative soul, keep learning, and discover more productive ways for this blog and for myself.
I’ve started journaling a few months back. Maybe I’ll use some of those thoughts. Maybe I’ll be searching for new ones… I’m sure it will be a hard but worthwhile challenge. And I’m pretty convinced that I will fail some and achieve in equal measure.

Aos meus leitores em língua portuguesa:
Inicio hoje uma série de artigos dedicados ao Desafio mencionado em cima. As Reflexões de Dezembro serão fotos acompanhadas, ou não (consoante o humor) de algum texto. Uma vez que este desafio é organizado em Inglês é neste idioma que irei participar.
Quanto aos meus artigos ‘normais’ irei usar o mês de Dezembro para fazer uma curta pausa. Irei escrever para este desafio e, neste momento, não sei se irei escrever muito mais para além disto.
Este blogue tem evoluído muito ao longo de mais de uma década. Dezembro de 2016 servirá para colocar em perspectiva todo esse caminho assim como tudo o que pretendo fazer em 2017.
Espero que me acompanhem neste desafio mais visual e que deixem os vossos comentários (e continuem a ler os artigos já publicados).
